The future belongs to the young people of today.
What will they inherit?
Don't worry that children never listen to you; worry that they are always watching you.

Just this morning I was thinking about my little friend Leo at the coffee shop. He had picked up a pretty piece of plastic he found and was sharing it with me. I am amazed how a three-year-old sees the world. And then you reminded me to cherish the moment...
All great thoughts on how to look at life through the honest eyes of children.
def some good wisdom...and some gut checks in this...they are always picking up what we do...but the title asks another question...and that is what are we leaving them....
I pray about the future of the children of our world. I do love the freedom in their minds.
I think the 2nd quote is the most true
We sure have a responsibility, don't we?
Good stuff CiCi, and so true!
As I was listening to the nightly news talking about the MASSIVE budget cuts in California for schools and the impact it will have on our kids as I was reading this post. This sure hits home-- loud and clear.

Yep, scary but true. We have a great responsibility to be good role models.
I suppose they will inherit what we leave them.. the bad with the good. I suspect we're leaving it in good hands.
so true and very noticeable when you watch kids.
I got a laugh from the "wet cement" because one of my daughters made me think I was carrying wet cement at times.
They will be just fine. The world always sorts itself out.
I hope they do better than our generation did!
What a lovely post. You are so right. Children are like sponges and are soaking up everything they see & hear. It is a responsibility, isn't it?
