We were just having this discussion the other night while watching hockey playoffs. I couldn't agree more. There are many people who contribute greatly to society who make a pittance. And many in the entertainment business (arts or sports) who rake in an embarrassment of riches. I think some of those contracts are obscene.

I couldn't agree more. As a country our priorities are totally out of whack.
same thing with teachers and college coaches.

Unfortunately the man with a helmet doesn't have an audience willing to pay big money to watch him doing the defending.
