Decorating the senior center is great fun. The theme this month is Fathers. We have an artificial tree that used to be only for Christmas, but when I became the official decorator at the senior center, I decided one month was not enough time to see a decorated tree. So part of what happens at our center is a change of "clothes" each month on our tree. This month the tree is clad in mens ties. All sizes and shapes. A gal pal asked me if I could use a box of mens ties last year and I snatched that box and began planning the June decorations. We also have barbecue apron and fishing gear. I even put plastic squirt bottles in the pocket of the big apron: red for ketchup, white for mayo, and yellow for mustard. We have fishing gear and golf clubs too. Any ideas come to mind for more Fathers Day decorations?

Yep! It's Father's Day here too! Wonder what the kids are planning!
I am sure all the inventive lady bloggers will give you some great ideas but I am only a man I am afraid lol
CiCi, do you know Jinksy?
She and I met on Monday and she crocheyed at Blanket for me. I've done a post about it. A lovely meeting of two bloggers.

tools? cars? sports?
maybe have everyone make ornaments with pictures of their father...
that is pretty cool...i know someone else that decorates their tree year round...
Why not put more manly stuff like beer steins, toolboxes and mechanical stuff?
How about a TV remote? Great idea for a decoration, CiCi. It seems like you're having fun these days. :-)
What a fun way to decorate for Father's Day. I like Brian's idea, above, of people making an ornament with pictures of their fathers.
My father passed away when I was seven. The day hasn't meant much to me yet, until I become one myself.
Decorating the tree with ties for fathers is a great idea!
What a wonderfully creative idea! I'm thinking tools and stuff - like screwdrivers, wrenches, etc. Reminds me of my dad anyway.
Cute idea. Would love to see a photo posted.
