The seasons should be named by the things we can do during the season.
For me, spring is Bike Season. My bike was treated to its annual maintenance with The Bike Guy. In our little town we have a great guy who can fix anything on a bike, he can put together one great bike out of spare parts.
Summer is Vegetable Garden Season.
Fall is Enjoy the Colors Season.
Winter is Bundle Up Season.
And so on.

the season of colors is my fav...smiles.
I bought a used bike a couple years back and don't ride it much. I thought I would, but it's hard to haul it up and down to the second floor. Not as young as I used to be, it seems. :-)
I got a new bike last year but haven't used it that much.
Summer is cake season for my family since we have so many family birthdays between May and September.
Yay! Happy Bike Season! Too bad it also coincides with road construction season, but oh well. Enjoy!
It would seem that we're up to our eyeballs in mosquito and black fly season here.
When I was a kid we broke up summer into inner tube season, sling shot season, rubber band gun season and so on.
I'm looking forward to Vegetable Garden season!
