Not Johnny Carson. My favorite is Johnny Depp. Yeah.
My blogging friend Carol has loads of artistic talent. AND she is smart.
I asked if she would sketch Johnny Depp. And this is what she did. Amazing, huh.
Carol has another blog too. Here. I found this blog first and then found her art blog.
I have a few favorite movies that I watch over and over.
I watch this movie at least once a year. I can't say what it is that endears me to this movie, but I enjoy it immensely. I can relate to the artwork and the doorknob mobile and I am always fascinated with the joy in this movie. It is such a pleasure to watch Johnny Depp perform.
If you are a Johnny Depp fan too, honk as you drive by this post today on your excursion through blogland. Enjoy your day.

Honk... honk... HONK! Love him! Loved him in Benny & Joon and Gilbert Grape. Watch them every chance I get!
I can't say I'm a fan, or that I'm not really. I don't think I've seen many films with him in them. I do think that drawing is excellent though. :)
Johnny Depp is great - I love the way he always totally owns the characters that he plays. I was very sceptical about the remake of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - until I saw it. Wonderful! He didn't try to just copy Gene Wilder, he put his own spin on it and created a cracking character.
So HONK HONK from me!
The Pirates of the Caribbean movies were fun and he seemed to fit that role particularly well.
Honk! I love him too, although I've never seen that movie. I guess I need to get it and watch it, huh? :-)
I do like that movie, but I haven't seen it in a long time.
The drawing is amazing.
I like Johnny Depp but no way near as much as you do. But I recognize it when a lady such as yourself gets the vapors over a celebrity. I've told Mrs. Chatterbox that if she can lure George Clooney into a bed she can have him.
Oh, I opened my reader view and saw "my/your" Johnny! Thanks for the mention :)
There's just something about Johnny Depp. The most recent movie I saw with him was "The Tourist" and actually I didn't think it was all that great - like the creators either tried too hard, or they didn't try at all, thinking they could get by on star power alone.
I think I mentioned that I had never drawn him before because everyone and their grandma who owns a pencil has drawn him. I think I just needed a little nudge. Your suggestion was the nudge - thanks for that!
What an awesome drawing of Johnny Depp! I have never seen the movie you mentioned so I am going to watch it soon. He is my favorite actor! Hope you have a lovely week ahead!
omg that is an incredible pic...she is an artist surely...i def like benny & joon...just watched it again recently...
Did you know he was the teenage boyfriend in the first nightmare on elm street?
He is my #1 celebrity. Love, love, love him. I had forgotten about Benny & Joon, but I adore Gilbert Grape and Edward Scissorhands.
Younger daughter and I have watched Benny and Joon on several different occasions and both of us really love it. My older daughter is a big fan of Gilbert Grape and has watched that several times. Mandy and I have watched that one at least once, possibly twice -memory fades there. He is indeed a very good actor!
She IS good, isn't she? I love her drawings. She's so talented. I asked her to draw Blake Shelton and she did! Just like that! She's not only talented, she's generous.
Wow, she is very good and I love Benny & Joon, one of my favorites!
