There is an awesome store at the south entrance to the Grand Canyon in Arizona. Of course, the main draw is the Grand Canyon. But if you are ever near Williams, Arizona, stop in at the Double Eagle Trading Company. This is not an average trading post with the average tourist stuff. The store is full of very nice gifts to take back to friends and family and better grade jewelry as well as clothes and Native American wares. Rumor has it you can even get a free cup of coffee!
When you stop in at the store, say hello to the owner. Her daughter works at the store with her most days. Her daughter is my granddaughter. So that makes the owner my daughter! I will be going there in April for a visit. This is turning out to be "The Year To Spend Time With Family".
I don't watch TV, but I saw a clip of the show The Bachelor a few weeks ago in which the first scene of that episode the couple was standing in front of my daughter's store. That was some nice free advertising.

ha. that is very cool free advertising....what a neat surprise to see as well....
Nice place! And your offspring has created quite a fine looking store. I'll remember to go there if I ever am in the area again. :-)
that's pretty cool, though I'm surprised that show is still even on. Along with Survivor and American Idol.
That's an awesome looking store!!!
Love it! Looks like a great shop!
I hope you have a great time when you visit - and take lots of pics!
Ah, a store of many gifts - how wonderful!
Very cool indeed, the store and the free publicity.
What a great looking store, CiCi. And the free product placement on "The Bachelor" is awesome! I'm guessing A LOT of people will comment on having seen the store on TV when they pass through. Very cool.
Glad you are able to travel so much and spend time with the family. It's a real treat.

How cool is this?! I've never been to the Grand Canyon, but our kids have been lobbying for a trip. I will keep this shop in mind!
What a fine looking place. It sounds like a fun stop for sure. You must be mighty proud of her. And so cool that you'll be visiting her soon. I expect we'll see more of that place in photos. :)
What a great looking store. You and I are both having a year of the travels, I'm off to visit a daughter in March. I won't have a fancy store like that to visit though.
