Favorite Time Of Day

Awake. Still dark. Sun won't be up for another hour. Make coffee and check emails then sit back with cup of coffee and watch the changes in the sky. It is so peaceful, this is a wonderful time of day. Happy to wake up, looking forward to the adventures that will be presented during the day, grateful for the many dear people in my life, the low stress level, the quiet time to ponder things in general, aware of the inner growth in the past few years and the joy of anticipation for the what is in the future. Looking out the window, feeling content, feeling alive. Priceless.

I am not one for getting up early if I can help it - I think the only time this changed was for a time when I was a teenager, when I went through a phase of getting up early, grabbing the dogs and going for a walk to my favourite spot to watch the sun rise.

Nice, CiCi. Are you ever going to tell me about the move? I keep wondering if everything is well with you, and this post did answer that question. You sound happy! :-)

Low stress and anticipation of the future... telling words, Cici. Sounds like things are going just fine.

Morning has always been my favorite time of day. Like you, I don't think there are many things better than a pretty sunrise.

Alive and well in the "thinking hour" - tasting the wonders of inner peace at dawn. Thank you for sharing.

You have just described my favorite part of the day. Even on nights I work late, I set my alarm for early. Figure I can always nap later. :)

RC, you being a musician, I can understand not being a morning person. Even though you are a teacher you are a musician at heart. Every musician I have known are night people.

DJan, more info to come in a couple days on the move. It makes me happy though that you are interested in the latest events in my life.

Jeanie, glad to hear from you. Are you still on blogging vacation?

Abby, if I had your energy and enthusiasm for daily life, I would probably get up even earlier than I do.

Ms A, since you remember when there was so much stress in my life, it is indeed wonderful to be able to say so casually that there is low stress now.

Stephen, good to hear from another morning admirer.

Lawrence, you have a way with words that I aspire to and I am hoping some of your natural talent will rub off on me as the years go by.

ShadowRun, I totally understand your thinking, you can catch a nap anytime; however, the peace and beauty of a morning sunrise and the surrounding events of nature are not to be missed.

I too like to be up early, but by 4 pm, I'm pretty much done in…I definitely don't like to be out in the evenings any more as my brain doesn't work that well late in the day. I become an introvert, which is not a good thing to be at parties.

Looking forward to knowing more about your move. You seem to take these moves in stride, much better than I could do.
