Bread Crumbs

The monthly book club meeting was yesterday.   I enjoyed the book and will find another book by this author. The consensus at the book club was half liked and half didn't.

This month's pick was Still Life With Bread Crumbs by Anna Quindlen. Her upbeat approach to life is catchy. Before I got the book I was wondering how the bread crumbs thing could be in the book. When I discovered it about a third way into the story, it made sense and from then on I was 100% involved in the story.

The book won't be a keeper, on my book shelf with my special books, but it is a book I wouldn't have found without the leading of the book club.

Gads, how many time is the word "book" in that last sentence? I could probably find another place to put the word. Ha.

I read that book but remember nothing about it, other than the title. And how long has it been since I saw the word "gads" used in a sentence? :-)

If you enjoyed the book, it was time well spent. Happy Weekend.

I never read actual books anymore. I read blogs and the info from my FB groups and I research on the computer. As far as actual books, I can't enlarge the print on those and my eyes are pretty much shot.
