Go After Your Dreams

Sometimes going back to sleep for another hour can be the best sleep of the night. But waking up completely, facing the day with enthusiasm, and going forward each day determined to live the day to the fullest opens up the opportunities presented to me each hour and each minute.

Good thought.

I used to go back to sleep, but do that less these days - maybe a good sign? Maybe that is why I feel more tired these days? Hm.

I don't sleep very well, so any time I have the opportunity for it to be the "best sleep" I'm going for it!

Hello CiCi, how are you? How's your trip to the Coast?

I woke up this morning and sure enough, when I went back to sleep it WAS the best sleep of the night. I think one reason I sleep so well is all the exercise I get. :-)

I don't usually go back to sleep after I wake up....I like the quiet of the first hour of the day.

And for me it's opening my eyes and seeing. Each day as the vision gets dimmer it becomes so much more of a treasure. Then I shall be glad I can dream to recall what was once vision.

Inspiring thoughts!

I woke this morning from an uncomfortable dream. One of those where I'm happy it was just a dream!

Great words, unless you dream about not falling down the stairs.

i feel you...sometimes the extra bit helps...esp if you are then fully awake to the world around you....instead of just stumbling through it...happy saturday to you!

I wake up bright and early these days and never go back to sleep. I average about 4/5 hours sleep a night. Life's too short to spend it sleeeping!

I'm usually an early riser, but today I slept until 9:00. It only felt good momentarily, until I realized sleeping 10 hours makes my back and neck ache. I think you're right. I need to go back to waking up and making the most of the day.

I'm all for a healthy dose of dreaming and chasing dreams.

You are so right about that extra hour of sleep. I swear the best part of the night is the nap I take in the morning while I wait for my husband to finish his shower and shave. It's about 30 minutes of outstanding rest!

Hope all's well with you CiCi.
