Too Many Numbers

So many times I have felt just like this. Different passwords for each company I purchase from online. Each bank. Each email address. Each debit card. (I don't have credit cards, or there would be passwords needed for them too.) And on and on.

How do others handle this?

How about changing them all to "icantremember"?

It's a royal pain, that's for sure and I don't even handle any kind of business online.

I totally agree I have so many on-line for ebay, amazon, my blog, credit card, the computer etc. I can't remember them all.

I agree that it is crazy trying to remember them all. Here is how I haandle it......not very well. :) I guess it is a good exercise for our (aging) memories.

Don't tell anyone, but I only have one password for everything. It's a made up word so I think I'm okay.

Have you seen the recent reports about most common passwords? "password" and "123456" on in the top. Don't use these. Also don't use the same one for too many things. Hackers rely on that.
I found the easiest type is the letters of a favorite phrase or place and a few numbers. For example - B for beach or bird so you can get BB4FT - Beach Birds for Family Time. It is easier to remember a phrase than random letters.

Oh, this is so true! I have a system, but if I were to tell you what it is, I'd have to kill you. :-)

It does get a bit much when there are so many to remember. Wish I had the perfect formula..... but then I wouldn't be able to share!

I have a few to try for those occasions when I've totally forgotten how to get into a site. Typically, I'll make a password out of the first letters of a line to a song. I'll switch them out now and again.
