"Imagine all the people living life in peace. You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one.
I hope someday you'll join us, and the world will be as one. "

Impromptu

Impromptu get-togethers can turn out to be some of the best times. A group of us ended up at a gal's house for a card game and we had not been together as a group before. We found we enjoyed each other's company and there was much laughter and a great time.

Learning to try new things, and spend time with people who are new to me is turning out to be enjoyable and uplifting. If I am lifted up any more, I will be floating!

Be good to yourself, do something spontaneous, last minute,.

I love it when something like that happens. Mrs RC and me have suddenly found that life now allows us to be spontaneous - my trip the the US has been shelved and we are going on our Honeymoon this summer! It is the first time we have been free enough to do it!

Your attitude towards life has a lot to do with your sense of enjoyment, CiCi. It's infectious, too. I'm glad to have caught it from you. :-)

This is a great story of the serendipity of life. I hope you continue to enjoy many more impromptu get togethers with old friend and new.

Good for you, CiCi. DJan expressed pretty much what I was about to type so I'll just say "ditto." :)

I think your new philosophy is a good one for setting you on the path to future happiness and fulfillment.

I think you've developed an openness to what life brings your way and it helps you find much more joy and happiness than you might otherwise. I could take a lesson from you!

recently my wife and I did an impromptu trip to the local coffee shop. we ran into friends and spent over an hour catching up. Good surprises are always good.

Fun! Way to just jump in and see what happens.

I have a friend who sends out texts to friends to meet at a coffee shop for "girls night outs"- gaming or whatever. I never know who all she's texted, or who will show up. I've never been sorry I went.
