I hope someday you'll join us, and the world will be as one. "

Using Ordinary Things

How's this for an imaginative invitation? Inflate a balloon. Pinch end shut but don't tie closed. Write invitation details on the balloon with a bright permanent marker. Make sure the ink is dry before you deflate. Place balloon in an envelope and mail one out to each guest. When your guests receive it, they'll have to blow it up to see what it says.

Note: It is suggested to use a pump for sanitary purposes.

Now I want to have a party.

I couldn't do this one. I'm a nervous wreck on a good day, but balloons heighten my nervousness tremendously.

I don't have any balloons but i do have a package of condoms that have been laying around for a long time. I suppose those would work just as well.

Fun. We're having a party, but I'm too lazy for that. Let me know if you come up with any creative ideas for less-winded people.haha

A party can be a brunch or as simple as a coffee/tea get together with some snacks.

Oh I did do this once. The message on the balloon was to pop it. I had also rolled up a note inside of it with the actual invitation. It was for a kids' birthday party. They needed to blow up the balloon and pop it in order to get to the invitation scroll.
