My son's family is wild about cats and this site: http://icanhascheezburger.com/

I prefer dogs. My favorite is black Labrador retrievers.

I always had a cat until about 12 years ago. They are great companions and like the cat on the phone in the first picture they can become the boss in the house.

That raccoon/cat picture is really puzzling. It has to be photoshopped; raccoons would never be so gentle! Of course, it's possible the cat had bedazzled the con. They are good at that, aren't they? Great cat stories! :-)

I know, isn't it a great photo?

Thanks for the site. Will check it out. Tomorrow my cat, Lola, will be here with me one month.

I also like dogs, just this time a cat makes more sense for me.

The lady who had my Lola the first two years of her life did a great job teaching Lola. She is so laid back and accommodating.

Maybe you will get another cat some day. Now that Lola is my roommate, it is better than I thought it would be.

I found these photos all over the net over a year. I should keep trying to get some pics of my Lola. When she sprawls out, she takes up a third of the couch.

Glad Lola is such fine company! Hugs!

Hi CiCi..thanks for stopping by my blog!

I am a cat lover too...and the first cartoon pretty much sums it up! I have 8 cats (I live in the country and they are all indoor/outdoor cats). And on the counter cats. lol They do whatever they damn well please, mostly. Right now they are at the bottom of the back room door, because I just brought new chicks home today...lol

I'm following you now, so be sure that I'll be back!!

We need a cat! We are having such a hard time with mice. Can't get rid of them and I hate them.

Is that raccoon photo for real?

I miss our 2 cats, they were beautiful.

Loved these! I have to make sure I show this to Mandy too though -especially the first one -as that surely would have to be the conversation lines that our cat, Pearl the Purrball, would be having! She doesn't get up on the counter though as she much prefers the dining room table to park her butt unless, it happens to be a day when she's into "fishing" and likes to perch atop the fish tank and bedevil the living daylights out of poor Mike, Maya's beta fish. Cats! Gotta love 'em don't 'cha?

You made my day! That first cartoon is a riot! i'm sending a copy to my Mom who probably says "get off the counter" to her cat a thousand times a day!
Hahahahaha.

Don't have any pets currently but I know they become family.
Don't know if you read Pearl's blog (like you need another blog to follow) but she writes very funny cat stories.

I never knew I loved cats until ours found us. She's been gone a couple of years now and I miss her. I still have one cat. He was my mom's and now lives with us. He hates everyone and won't let us touch him. He just hides all the time.
